2020 Dodge Charger
If you're looking for a head-turning car with dynamic details that can easily outperform others in its class, then you want to check out the 2020 Dodge Charger. This powerful car provides you with a comfortable ride and modern technology features that keep you connected when you're on the road. Here's your guide to the 2020 Dodge Charger.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
There are four standard and two Widebody trims to choose from with the Charger. Standard trims are the SXT, GT, R/T, and Scat Pack, while the Widebody options are the Scat Pack Widebody and SRT Hellcat Widebody. To customize the look of your car, you can get it in one of 12 distinct paint colors. It really shines in Frostbite, F8 Green, Hellraisin, and Go Mango. Other exceptional features that help this car stand out include the functional hood scoop, dual air extractors, and its muscular grille and fenders. From behind, the available LED taillamp looks sleek and stylish.
Engine (Power)
You'll get all the power you need from one of the four engines available under the hood of the 2020 Charger. A capable 3.6-liter V-6 engine that puts out 292 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque comes standard on the base SXT trim. It's mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and has a front-wheel-drive system. At the GT level, the same engine produces 300 horsepower and 264 pound-feet of torque.
Other engine options include a 5.7-liter V-8 that delivers 370 horsepower and 395 pound-feet of torque, a 6.4-liter V-8 that's rated at 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque, and a 6.2-liter V-8 that pumps out an impressive 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
You'll have no problem configuring your Charger to perform exactly the way you want it to. Start by choosing the suspension system that works for you. With the performance suspension system, you'll get sport-tuned suspension that includes springs, sway bars, and high-performance Bilstein shock absorbers, while the high-performance suspension builds on the performance suspension with improved balance, cornering, and responsiveness. The Widebody models have a Widebody competition suspension system that includes a three-mode active damping system. Next, choose either the four-piston or six-piston braking system to ensure you have all the stopping power you need. Both use Brembo brakes.
Interior
As you take your place behind the wheel of the Dodge Charger, you'll notice the interior looks sleek and sharp, and everything you need is right at your fingertips. Use the Uconnect infotainment system to access your favorite apps through Apple CarPlay. The touch screen allows you to drag and drop icons so you can arrange them to suit your needs. Available interior features you won't want to skip include heated and ventilated front seats, memory settings for the driver's seat, and a full-leather flat-bottom performance steering wheel.
Safety Features
With its standard array of safety technologies, you can feel confident taking on the road in the 2020 Dodge Charger. A rear backup camera and the rear park assist system will make getting out of tight parking spaces a breeze. Available safety features such as lane departure warning with lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-path detection, and automatic high-beam headlamps are just a few more of the features you can enjoy.
