The RAM 3500 gives you three powerful engine options from which to choose. Every model comes standard with a 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 that can produce 410 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque. That much power allows you to tow up to 18,210 pounds and carry a payload of up to 7,680 pounds. An available 370-horsepower, 6.7-liter Cummins Turbo Diesel I6 engine gives you 850 pound-feet of torque and 22,670-pound towing capacity. The high-output Turbo Diesel lets you tow an incredible 35,100 pounds.
Performance
Of course, a truck that is as powerful as the RAM 3500 deserves impressive performance dynamics. A class-exclusive auto-level rear air suspension provides a parallel hitch between the truck and your tow trailer while adapting to changes in road camber and load.
