The Ellen Noel Art Museum is a fine arts center in Odessa that’s the perfect destination for a romantic day date. The McKnight Gallery displays the museum’s permanent collection. This collection is changed once a year to showcase the more than 900 objects in the collection. The McKnight Gallery also offers direct access to the George and Milly Rhodus Sculpture & Sensory Garden. In addition to viewing the art, you can also sign up for some of the other special programs at the museum.
McKinney Park
You and your partner can spend some time enjoying the great outdoors when you plan a date at McKinney Park. This recreational green space offers several activities to enjoy on your date. If you want to relax, you can pack a lunch to have at the picnic pavilions. Or you can take a calm and quiet stroll on the 1.6-mile Comanche Trail Park South loop that goes through the park. Monahans Sandhills State Park

This 3,840-acre state park is known for its rolling dunes that offer plenty of opportunities for fun. During your visit, you can rent sand disks to slide down the dunes, take a hike across the dunes, or stop by the visitor’s center to learn more about the area.
Replica Stonehenge
If you’re interested in a quirky day date, take a trip to Stonehenge. However, you won’t be traveling to England. Instead, you’ll head to the replica Stonehenge on the campus of the University of Texas of the Permian Basin in Odessa. The 20 stone blocks that make up the replica Stonehenge are approximately the same size, shape, and appearance as the ones in the original Stonehenge. Admission to the replica Stonehenge is free.
