Many vehicles already provide drivers with the comfort and convenience of heated seats, but soon you’ll be able to cool your caboose too. These seats work by placing multiple fans under the seat cushion. The cushion is then covered with a mesh-like fabric that maximizes the amount of airflow. Enhanced Safety Airbags

Researchers at Mercedes are working on developing an active-safety airbag system that will be able to prevent a crash completely. Working in collaboration with a front camera system, these airbags will deploy underneath the vehicle when an accident seems imminent. Once they go off, they create enough friction to bring the vehicle to a complete stop.
Augmented Reality Dashboards
Augmented reality, or AR, dashboards are already in some higher-end makes and models, but you can expect to see them a lot more frequently in the next few years. This technology and its capabilities are also expected to become even more advanced as time goes by. Essentially, augmented reality dashboards are a driver assist safety feature that displays important vehicle stats and key information on the windshield directly in front of the driver. As a result, this minimizes the likelihood and need for someone to take their eyes off the road while driving.
In the future, augmented reality dashboards will display some of the basic information now found in the driver display behind the steering wheel, like the speedometer and fuel level, as well as additional details, such as music, maps, and other tools.
