Exterior Design

You can choose from four trim packages for the Gladiator: Sport, Sport S, Overland, and Rubicon. You can get either a soft-top or hardtop on all models. The Gladiator’s doors and the top can be removed easily, making it the only convertible pickup on the market. The bed of the Gladiator is 5 feet long and equipped with LED cargo lighting.  A three-position tailgate makes climbing into the bed easier. All-season tires are standard on the Sport and Sport S. The Overland and Rubicon models are equipped with all-terrain tires. If your Rubicon will be spending a lot of time in the mud, choose the optional mud-terrain tires.

Interior Design

Bucket seats are standard on all Gladiators. The rear seat is a 60/40 folding seat. A 5-inch touch-screen display is standard on the Sport and Sport S. The Overland and Rubicon feature a 7-inch screen. When in reverse, the view from the standard rearview camera is displayed on the touch screen.

All Gladiators are equipped with UConnect. With UConnect, you can make and receive phone calls, send text messages (from a preprogrammed list), play music, and use navigation features. In addition to UConnect, the Overland and Rubicon are equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. An eight-speaker audio system is standard on all models and can be controlled using audio buttons on the steering wheel.

Power

The standard engine on all Jeep Gladiators is a 3.6-liter V-6 with ESS (Engine Stop-Start) technology. ESS improves fuel efficiency and reduces carbon emissions. If you prefer an automatic transmission, opt for Jeep’s eight-speed automated transmission. The Sport, Sport S, and Overland feature the Command-Trac 4×4 System. The Rubicon steps up to the Rock-Trac 4×4 system, which has front-and-rear electronic-locking differentials for unsurpassed off-road capability.

Performance

Jeep has equipped the Gladiator to go anywhere and everywhere. The Gladiator’s high-strength steel frame, heavy-duty axles, and large brakes ensure that your Gladiator will never leave you stuck. Trail Rated Gladiators include special water sealing so you can drive through 30-inch-deep water. The Gladiator has a maximum towing capacity of 7,650 pounds when properly equipped. The truck bed of the Gladiator can carry 1,600 pounds of cargo. Four tie-down loops are standard in the bed of the Gladiator and make easy work of strapping down cargo. For an extra hand when hitching on trailers, choose the optional Trailer Hitch Zoom. This feature focuses on the rearview camera on the hitch and displays it on the touch screen.

Safety Features

All 2020 Gladiator models are equipped with advanced multistage airbags and anti-lock brakes. The Gladiator’s hydraulic assist brake booster ensures consistent braking in all types of terrain. Electronic roll mitigation and stability control improve traction and prevent rollover.

The 2020 Gladiator doesn’t just look tough — it is tough. With Jeep classic styling, tough 4×4 features, and impressive towing capabilities, Jeep’s only pickup truck is designed to go anywhere and haul anything
