The Jeep Wrangler was created to help troops in World War II, and it’s still one of the most capable, popular off-road vehicles available. Its convenient, practical features make it ideal for commuting as well. A Rugged Exterior
The 2020 Jeep Wrangler has a boxy profile, Jeep’s seven-slot grille, and round headlights. It stands out on the road or in a parking lot, and you can choose a two- or four-door model. Remove the doors and fold down the windshield to enjoy the open air while you drive.
With the base Sport, you’ll get fog lights, 17-inch wheels, a black soft top, all-season tires, manually folding side mirrors, and front and rear tow hooks. You can also choose a tan soft top, a power top, or a black or body-colored three-piece hardtop. Additional options include 18- or 33-inch wheels, automatic headlights, heated side mirrors, rock rails, side steps, and skid plates.
Plenty of Power and Maneuverability
This SUV’s efficient, powerful 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine provides 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. It shuts off automatically when you stop in traffic to conserve fuel by preventing idling, and it starts again when you use the accelerator. Choose the Sahara or the Sahara Altitude for a turbocharged, four-cylinder, 2.0-liter torque motor with 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. With both engines, you can choose a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed automatic, and you can enjoy a comfortable, quiet ride, even on rough terrain.
The Wrangler has great traction, lots of ground clearance, sealed electrical connections, and high air intakes for crossing deep puddles, creeks, and streams. It can maneuver over or around large obstacles like boulders easily, and it can handle sand, mud, and deep snow. The optional Selec-Trac four-wheel drive can use two-wheel-drive to save gas when you don’t need all four wheels. You can carry up to 1,000 pounds and tow up to 3,500 pounds, and you’ll get up to 23 mpg in urban areas and 25 mpg on the open road.
A Practical Interior
Removable carpeting and floor drains make getting rid of mud or dirt easily. You’ll also get folding rear seats, voice recognition, controls on the steering wheel, and a 5-inch touch screen. Standard safety features include electronic stability control, trailer sway control, electronic roll mitigation, a spare tire, a rearview camera, hill-start assistance, and traction control.
