Located on East University Boulevard in the shopping center behind Harrigan’s, The Cake Company of Odessa is a locally owned bakery that makes everything from scratch. Its unique and delicious desserts include cupcakes, brownies, pies, cheesecake, cookies, scones, and cakes. For its cakes, the bakery serves almost a dozen varieties, including Italian cream, turtle, chocolate-covered strawberry, and banana cream. The chocolate lovers cake features a dark chocolate cake with ganache filling and topped with chocolate shavings and chocolate ganache. The strawberry dream consists of a strawberry cake with strawberry glaze, iced with vanilla frosting, and topped with fresh strawberries.

Try one of the bakery’s cakes, which come in three sizes and seven flavors. Cookie flavors include white chocolate macadamia, snickerdoodle, iced sugar, and melt away. L’Oven Expressions Bakery
Found on East 42nd Street, L’Oven Expressions Bakery creates beautiful and delicious cakes and cookies. It specializes in birthdays and weddings and can send these masterpieces across the country. Most out-of-area deliveries take between two to three days to arrive, and it ships items Monday through Friday except for holidays. The bakery also delivers locally the day after it receives an order, excluding weekends and holidays.
Some of its top-selling products include a birthday basket with a dozen freshly baked gourmet cookies and three hand-decorated ones, a dozen gourmet chocolate-dipped strawberries, and a chocolate pecan bundt cake. For weddings, the bakery can create all types of cakes and decorations. You can also order dessert for thank-you gifts, quinceaneras, births, and holidays.
