Powerful Engine
Every 2020 Gladiator comes equipped with a powerful 285-horsepower, 3.6-liter V-6 engine that produces 260 pound-feet of torque. The engine includes Stop-Start tech to improve fuel efficiency. A six-speed manual transmission pairs with the standard engine, with an available eight-speed automatic transmission.
The Gladiator features the largest brakes in its class and a 650-amp maintenance-free battery. The Sport and Sport S include a 180-amp alternator, while the Overland and Rubicon jump to a 220-amp alternator. The Rubicon also adds a performance-rated suspension.
Performance Features
Jeep’s Command-Trac Part-Time four-wheel-drive system is standard on the Sport, Sport S, and Overland models. The Rubicon includes the Rock-Trac 4×4 system. The Rock-Trac system provides incredible control in challenging conditions thanks to the front and rear electronic locking differentials.
Properly equipped, the maximum towing capacity varies from 6,000 pounds to 7,650 pounds. It’s never been easier to hitch up a trailer thanks to the optional Trailer Hitch Zoom feature. This feature displays the hitch on the touchscreen, making hitching a snap. The bed area can carry a maximum payload of 1,700 pounds. Four tie-down loops in the bed ensure that cargo stays put.
All Gladiators have heavy-duty Dana axles, a front sway bar disconnect, skid plates, FOX-branded shocks, and a high-strength steel frame. The Gladiator is water sealed, allowing you to drive through water up to 30-inches deep. A generous ground clearance of 11.1-inches enables you to drive over most off-road obstacles without damaging the underbody.
Infotainment Features
The Sport and Sport S include Uconnect 3 and a 5-inch touch screen display. Uconnect 4 and a 7-inch touch screen come standard in the Overland and Rubicon models. All models include an eight-speaker audio system. A premium Alpine sound system is available on the Sport S, Overland, and Rubicon. A media hub, remote USB port, steering-wheel-mounted audio controls, and an audio jack are standard on all Gladiators. The Overland and Rubicon include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, an integrated center stack radio, and USB host flip.
Exterior Features
The exterior of the Gladiator lets you experience the outdoors like no other vehicle. You can completely open up the cab by removing the soft or hardtop roof, folding down the windshield, and removing the lightweight aluminum doors. Available features in the Gladiator’s steel truck bed allow you to organize and protect your cargo. Safety Features
All 2020 Gladiators include advanced multistage airbags, electronic roll mitigation, traction control, stability control, hill-start assist, and a rear backup camera.
